The Opentensor Foundation announced eTAO, a new system that gives Bittensor subnets control over how their alpha emissions are divided. Subnet owners can now decide how much goes to miners, validators and themselves based on their subnet's needs.
On Opentensor's Novelty Search, Bittensor Subnet 4 team Targon presented its confidential AI cloud, which protects models and data even on third-party hardware, and unveiled a public revenue dashboard. Targon said new GPU capacity is being booked by enterprise customers within a day, often on year-long contracts.
The Opentensor Foundation announced Null Consensus, a protocol update that raises subnet capacity from 256 to 2,500 participants and gives subnet owners an alternative to Yuma Consensus for determining miner rewards. Co-founder Jacob Steeves said it also enables proof-of-work registration, so agents can mine without holding TAO.
Bittensor's open robotics subnet (Subnet 80, @openroboto) now uses peaq's peaqOS to link robot training footage to capture devices with verifiable identities on Solana.
