Axe Compute signs Penguin Solutions as multi-year partner for build-to-order AI infrastructure
Aethir announced that Axe Compute has signed Penguin Solutions as a multi-year strategic partner for Axe Compute Build. Penguin will provide deployment and operations services, ClusterWareAI software and 24x7 NOC coverage as Axe moves more than $3.45B in contracted customer AI infrastructure projects into production.
Axe Compute has signed @WeAre_Penguin as a multi-year strategic partner for @AxeCompute Build, its build-to-order AI infrastructure program.
Penguin’s track record: 89,000+ GPUs deployed and managed, 33B+ hours of GPU runtime, and a five-year relationship helping Meta run 16,000 A100 GPUs in its Research SuperCluster.
Penguin also built and still runs SK Telecom’s Haein, one of Korea’s largest sovereign AI clusters, which was production-ready within weeks of the hardware arriving.
The job is to support Axe Compute as it moves more than $3.45B of contracted customer AI infrastructure projects into production.
Penguin will bring deployment and operational services, its ClusterWareAI software, and 24x7 network operations center coverage across multiple Axe Compute sites.
Axe keeps the customers, the capital, and the assets.
