Gitcoin co-founder Kevin Owocki posted an update saying Gitcoin is building Techne, an 'everything app for localism', with one applet and an SDK in private alpha and a local-funding app, Buoy, targeted for November. He said nothing has changed with GTC, which remains a governance token, there are no plans for a new token, and Gitcoin is setting up a 501(c)(3); he noted this is his personal view, not a governance decision, and dates are targets.
